Learn how to prepare delicious and nutritious grilled potatoes!-Part 2

How to prepare roasted potatoes in a pot

Different and very delicious foods can be prepared using potatoes, which are mostly fattening. Grilled potatoes or tandoori potatoes are one of the healthy foods prepared using potatoes. One of the ways to prepare grilled potatoes is to prepare them in a pot. Next, we will introduce how to prepare grilled potatoes in a pot.

The necessary ingredients for how to prepare grilled potatoes in a pot are:

  • One kilogram of potatoes
  • A teaspoon of black pepper
  • Coarse salt as needed

How to prepare grilled potatoes in a pot is as follows

In the first step, to start, wash the skin of the potatoes well with a brush. Then divide the small potatoes into two parts and the bigger potatoes into four parts. Transfer the diced potatoes to a pot of the right size. Add water to the pot to cover the potatoes. Put the lid on the pot and put the pot on a gas flame with medium heat and wait for the water inside the pot to boil. After the water boils, leave the lid of the pot half open. Wait for eight to ten minutes until the potatoes are boiled in water and half cooked. After making sure that the potatoes are half-cooked with a fork, put them in a colander and let the water from the potatoes drain completely. Take a pot and cover its bottom completely with coarse salt. After the potatoes are drained, place them in one layer on coarse date salt. Put the pot on very low heat and put a flame spreader under the pot and close the lid of the pot. Allow the potatoes to be fully cooked and baked for forty-five minutes to an hour. After one side of the potatoes is browned, turn it over to brown the other side as well. Your roasted potatoes are ready and ready to serve.

Grilled potatoes on gas

The ingredients needed to prepare gas-grilled potatoes are:

  • Six hundred grams of potatoes
  • Three cloves of fresh garlic
  • Half a tablespoon of chopped fresh coriander
  • A tablespoon of freshly chopped parsley
  • A tablespoon of freshly chopped thyme (you can also use rosemary or a combination of parsley, tarragon).
  • A quarter cup of mustard sauce
  • A quarter cup of mayonnaise
  • A tablespoon of butter
  • A tablespoon of salt
  • A quarter of a teaspoon of black pepper

The way to prepare gas-grilled potatoes is that first you have to clean the potatoes well and then add the potatoes to a pot that has been heated with water and salt. Let the potatoes boil. After cooking, put the potatoes in cold water to cool and then divide them into two parts.

To prepare the sauce, put mayonnaise, mustard sauce, salt and black pepper in a suitable container and then add fresh chopped vegetables to them and mix well. In the next step, put the boiled potatoes in the sauce and make sure that a layer of sauce is placed on the potatoes and that the sauce reaches all parts of the potatoes well. Let the potatoes remain in the sauce for a few minutes. Then use a grill pan and, if not available, a cast iron pan to grill the potatoes. Place the potatoes at a distance on the bottom of the pan and let them grill with gas heat and then turn them over to grill the other side. Your gas-grilled potatoes are ready.
