
Last week we talked about mushroom soup and how to cook it in a simple way. Today we want to talk about how to cook mushroom soup for parties. This soup is one of the most tasty Iranian(Persian) foods in Toronto.
Another type of mushroom soup is milk and mushroom soup for the party.
The necessary ingredients for the preparation of milk and mushroom soup for four people are:
- One chicken breast
- A medium sized carrot
- Two hundred and fifty grams of mushrooms
- One hundred grams of barley
- Half a liter of milk
- A tablespoon of lemon juice
- Two medium sized onions
- A tablespoon of chopped parsley
- Liquid oil as needed
- Salt, turmeric and black pepper as needed
The steps for preparing milk and mushroom soup are as follows
First stage
To start, wash the chicken breast in the first step and put four glasses of water, a quartered onion and salt in a pot on high heat until the water boils. After the water boils, lower the flame to cook the chicken breast slowly. After your chicken breast is cooked, take it out of the pot and let it cool down a bit, then shred it.
Second stage
Peel the onion and wash it well. Then cut it into small pieces. Place a pot of suitable size on the gas flame and pour some liquid oil in it until it is hot. After the oil heats up, add the chopped precious onions to the pot and fry them together with the oil.
After the onion becomes soft and light and becomes glassy, add a little turmeric and fry it together with the onions.
Third level
At this stage, wash and peel the carrot and chop it finely. Add the chopped carrot to the onion pot along with the oatmeal and then strain the chicken broth and add the strained chicken broth to the onion pot. Reduce the gas flame so that the jo perk glazes with a gentle heat.
The fourth stage
After adding pearl barley, you must constantly stir the soup so that your soup does not sink. After the barley becomes glazed, add milk and shaved chicken to the pot and let the soup cook for another twenty minutes and let the milk absorb the ingredients in the soup.
The fifth stage
Chop the mushrooms as desired and fry them in a pan with some oil or butter until the mushrooms are soft. Add a little lemon juice to the mushrooms to make them white and not black. After the mushrooms are soft, add them to the soup. Add salt and black pepper to the soup to make it taste better.
The sixth stage
After the soup reaches the consistency you want, remove it from the heat and serve it in a container. To make it more beautiful and taste better, decorate it with cream and chopped parsley.
